As I'm riding along, my eyes seem to be in so many spots at one time. I love browsing the ground as we mosey ahead. Wild flowers, unique rocks, and rocks that make you jump off your horse and check them out to see if it's anything super cool or even rare.
We were moving part of the horse herd from the spring pastures up to the summer pastures where the grass was green and lush. This was the half way point and the herd slowed down enough that I could snap this photograph.
One bovine boss probably “decides” they aren’t feeling the “moving vibe” and that energy seems to run through the whole herd, making the trailing project more than laborious.
I remember thinking to myself how well we all were doing moving such a sizable herd, but was quickly reminded we had such a long way to go until we hit the red dirt road where the asphalt ended.
