Moving a massive herd!

As you can see, it was one highly productive day. The sheer number of moving pairs was huge. It was a ton of work but “Little Joe” my trusty mount handled it like a champ. I remember thinking to myself how well we all were doing moving such a sizable herd, but was quickly reminded we had such a long way to go until we hit the red dirt road where the asphalt ended. I knew at that point we would be making some real progress.
The stormy weather the day before cleared to this perfectly crisp and clear morning. The cows were feeling good and were really stepping out. It truly was another perfect day in the saddle. I love this range. Xo 😘
