These beauties were made by thinly slicing Spanish onions and soaking them in milk (or buttermilk) for a few minutes, then dredging in seasoned flour spiked with a hint of cayenne pepper! They are fried golden crispy brown and finished with a high quality salt just as they are removed from the hot oil.
